1. Orange & Cranberry Yoghurt Bowl
You will probably know by now that this is one of our favourite ways of serving Purition. It's easy to make, high in protein, good for your gut and really delicious! It's also a great option when you don't have a blender to hand.
How to make
Simply stir 40g Purition Orange & Cranberry into 125-150g plain Greek yoghurt and mix well. Top with your favourite berries or sprinkle some roughly chopped nuts over for a little extra crunch.
2. Instant oat free Orange & Cranberry porridge recipe
Ingredients
- 40-50g Purition Orange & Cranberry
- Dash of hot water or milk
Method
- Add a dash of hot water or milk to a warm bowl with 40-50g Purition
- Mix well and add more liquid until you reach your desired consistency
- Optional: Top with your choice of toppings like berries, nuts and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup
3. Orange & Cranberry Energy ball recipe
Ingredients
- 40g Purition Orange & Cranberry
- 1 cup of pitted dates
- 1 cup unsalted mixed nuts
Method
- Soak the pitted dates in some 'off the boil' boiled water for 5 mins
- In a food processor, pulse a cup of mixed nuts until roughly chopped
- Drain, and to the processor add the dates, along with 40-50g Purition Orange & Cranberry
- Pulse until the mixture is combined
- Smoosh the mixture together and roll into balls (you can use a tablespoon to help consistently measure)
- Chill and keep in the fridge
Optional extras
- Once chilled, top with half a walnut or roll/ sprinkle with toasted chopped pistachios/ orange zest or dust with some dark chocolate cocoa powder for an extra special treat
4. Easy Christmassy smoothie recipe
How to make
Simply blend 40g Purition Orange & Cranberry with 200-250ml of your favourite milk for 20 seconds, pour & enjoy!
5. Christmas Day pancake recipe
Ingredients
- 40g Purition Orange & Cranberry
- 50g of any flour (we used self raising)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150ml milk
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together until smooth. Leave the batter to rest for 5 minutes
- Heat 1 tsp of coconut oil, or butter in a frying pan on a medium heat
- Add 2-3 tbsp of batter to the pan and cook until golden on both sides (when bubbles start to appear on the surface, it’s time to flip!)
- Repeat until you've run out of batter. You should be able to make 4–5 medium pancakes
